A familiar object can have a second purpose. A diversion safe is an everyday-looking container with a concealed storage space. Its appeal is simple: your belongings can stay close without being on display.

The name can be misleading. In this category, “safe” often describes the idea of keeping something out of sight, rather than a tested level of physical protection. The useful question is what you actually need: a place for small personal items, convenient access, protection from damage, or resistance to forced entry.
Those are separate requirements. A compartment may meet the first two without meeting the others. Treat the appearance of an object and any verified protective performance as different parts of the purchase.
A convincing product page should show the interior as clearly as the exterior. Check usable dimensions, the shape of the opening and whether an insert reduces the available space. Measure the object you plan to store, including its case or cover.
Then consider where it will live. A piece you enjoy seeing on a shelf has a reason to remain there. Materials, proportions and finish matter because this is also part of your home, not simply a container.
A concealed compartment can be discovered. A portable object can also be moved or taken away with its contents. Neither an unfamiliar mechanism nor a realistic exterior guarantees that an item will remain unnoticed.
If you need a specific level of protection against forced entry, fire or water, look for evidence that a product has been tested for that purpose. Do not infer that protection from the word “safe”, from weight or from price.
Luke is VEKSU’s speaker-shaped design object, handmade in Madrid. It has no electronics and does not play sound. Inside, its useful compartment measures 48 mm wide × 126 mm high × 17 mm deep, with more room towards the centre of its partially cylindrical form.
You can choose the free compartment or a fitted insert for a supported hardware wallet. Luke is for discreet storage; it is not a certified safe and offers no certified protection against theft, fire or water. Its opening instructions accompany the object.
Choose a hidden compartment because its capacity, appearance and daily use suit you. Clear specifications and honest limits are more useful than a promise of invisibility. The right object should make a small part of your routine easier while earning its place in the room.
