Not out of shame.
Out of privacy.
Valuables. Personal documents.
Things that are yours and no one else's.
There is no discreet place to keep them.
A safe is obvious.
A locked drawer, suspicious.
Hiding them under the bed — a child's solution.
A seed phrase. Twenty-four words.
They give access to digital assets that can be worth
thousands of euros. Or more.
Where do you keep them?
On paper in a drawer? Anyone can find them.
In an obvious safe? It draws attention.
Somewhere safe? Which one, exactly?
The problem hadn't changed. It had only grown.
The answer wasn't a safe.
It was an object no one searches
because no one knows it hides anything.
One you can see every day.
Keep close. In control.
Without anyone knowing it's there.
Luke was born from that idea.

You cannot make a hiding place that looks like a hiding place. That was the first thing that became clear. Safes, locked drawers, bags hidden under floors — they all have one thing in common: they announce there is something to hide.
Luke had to look like something that already exists. Something anyone could see on a shelf or desk and not give a second thought. A portable speaker was the answer — everyone has one, nobody examines them.
The design process was not quick. Getting the weight, the tactile details, and the proportions within what anyone would expect from a real speaker took time. The buttons click. The USB ports are decorative but they are there.
Every Luke is produced individually, to order. There is no stock in a warehouse waiting to be shipped. When you place an order, your unit starts to be made. That process takes five to eight working days.
We work from Madrid because it allows us to control every detail. The final finish, the locking system adjustment, the weight. Things you cannot delegate to an industrial production line.
Luke is not for everyone. It is for the person who has something to protect and knows that drawing attention is the easiest mistake to make. It might be a hardware wallet, a document, or a collector's piece.
Luke is a design object with a hidden compartment — it includes no electronics or audio functionality. Its value lies in the discretion of the design. The best hiding place is the one nobody searches.
That is what was born from that room. That is Luke.
